dotting the sky
that's all it takes

Pluck a string
use the bow too
it goes ping

Move the pen
it forms words
you'll like it when

Trees
I stare at trees
I see the leaves
moving as they please,
so very free
Pencil
Move my pencil,
make a line,
my writing utensil
it looks very fine
Sayings
They say “dumplings over flowers”
is that how it goes?
Well, it has a weird power
maybe it’s a rose?
Cats
I like watching cats
I love to hear them purr,
on their little mats,
I like that for sure
Ice cream
A triple scoop?
who do you think you’re fooling?

THEORY
I have a theory
it’s really true
I won’t tell ya though
it fooled you too!
Clock
That circle on the wall,
it goes tick, tock, tick.
I stare at it all day,
that rusty big old clock.
