The Tree Club

How funny. How we need them, but we never think about them- trees. The Tree Club likes trees, plants, and (no comment) cats. Me and my friend Lily are “in charge” as the founders. Our assistant founder, Kayla, hires the members.

Most times, it’s competition. There’s a club called the nature club that denies the success of ours, claiming theirs is better. From what I know, the leader of the nature club is called Nyra. She sits next to me in class. But our club has a strong structure planned- court, law, trees- since 1st grade. We’ve covered loopholes for mistakes. Who says theirs is better than ours?

It’s sometimes a constant struggle, but we manage it. What can I say? Effort is well rewarded.

Basically, the tree club works like the Government. The judges discuss members to be failed or not, legislatives make laws, founders accept or veto laws, like that. The member ranks are: beginner, junior, satisfactory, advanced, and general.

It’s structured pretty well, isn’t it?

One response to “The Tree Club”

  1. Having planted trees in our backyard, the reward is seeing them grow. Some trees will be growing long after I’m gone, so I’d say plant them when you’re young so you can watch them grow for decades and decades.
